Despite the slightly damp weather, I had a great time meeting Naomi, Kevin and Lizzie for the pre-wedding/family shoot yesterday. They took me to some lovely places near their home in Dunbar, which I am ashamed to say I had not visited before.
I had such an amazing day with Tatyana and Kenneth for their wedding in South Queensferry yesterday. From the beautiful ceremony to the kidnapping of the guests over the Forth, then to the lovely reception.
On one of the hottest days of the year, Viv and Stuart married at the picturesque Barony Castle Hotel in the Scottish Borders. Despite the heat, it was an amazing day filled with laughter. After the ceremony (and I had climbed onto a roof for the group picture!) we made our way around the beautiful grounds.
Earlier in the glorious summer, Kelly and Michael married. The venue was the beautiful Fasque Castle in the Highlands. From morning preparations to the first dance it was an amazing day. It was also the first time I have seen such a glorious pork pie cake!
On one of the few rainy days this Summer in Edinburgh, Rachel and Alasdair married at the wonderful Hopetoun House. However, the rain did little to dampen the spirits of the couple and their guests (I think you can tell from all the smiles in the photographs!)
From getting ready in the glamorous Blythswood Square Hotel, to a final kiss in the sunset, Anthony and Michael's wedding was spectacular. After a moving ceremony, the couple and their guests moved to the gardens outside the hotel for some photographs in the sunshine.
Christina and Lloyd married on a bright Summer's day amidst their family and friends in Edinburgh. The Royal Mile tourists were delighted to see the beautiful bride make her way into Holyrood Kirk, after which the guests headed to the intimate Monteithswhile the couple and I took photos just off the Royal Mile.
I was thrilled to bump into Katie and Marc at Viv and Stuart's wedding recently. It's always such a joy to see couples who's wedding I shot, and it doesn't happen often enough. We managed to find some time to reminisce about their lovely day four years ago, and we recreated one of my favourite pictures from their day. Like no time has passed at all!
